3D'n

So, I'm relatively new to 3D. So far, I'm really enjoying it though. In the past I've only done very little applying of texture maps and all that fun business. 3D class rolls around, and we're introduced to Mudbox. Instant fun to be had. So I've whipped up a few things in Mudbox. I have jpgs of the Skull and Lizard dude, so that's what I'm gonna show. March break starts tomorrow, so I'll be posting a lot more real soon. Scanners, you will be mine!

There's a weird tear in the middle of the skull. Not sure why it got rendered that way, but whatever.

Did a little playing around with a program I picked up yesterday - Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro. Gotta say, it's PRETTY fun. Decided to do a little Ryu sketch. Not the greatest, but it was fun to play around with to learn the program.

I LOVE COLOURING!

Lots of being busy to thank for me not posting any of my new stuff lately. But animation, layouts and background paintings on the way... Well, soon-ish. For NOW, I've got myself playing with colours! Never did colour mixing in photoshop before, so I decided to give it a try.

I took something that I did for last year's Illustrator class (god. Seeing it now, it is pretty horrid)

And I decided to, well, as I was saying... Play with colour mixing! And honestly, to show myself that I've improved a little bit in the past year drawing wise. Looks a little better if yah ask me... Or anyone with working eyes. 

Next step

So I added a little fleshing out to my sidestep animation, and added a little recovery to the end of the action. Still some fixing and playing around - but that's learning.

Sick days, sick days.

So I'm off sick this morning, so I took some time laying in bed and added a little colour to a caricature sketch of my friend Maher. Came out well. Cheers.

PowerPete?

So... This is pretty self explanatory I imagine. But for those that want the explanation - Our monthly/weekly/whatever corkboard project is to "Powerpuff" ourselves. It's no Pokemon, but voila! Craig McCracken, you sure got some crazy character design.
